Athens is the capital of Greece and it deserves a one to two-day stay before or after the workshop for a visit to Acropolis and the Acropolis museum! A stroll to Plaka, one of the most picturesque neighborhoods Athens is also recommended.

Thessaloniki is the second largest city of Greece, the capital of Macedonia. There one can visit the area of Vergina at a distance of 75km from Thessaloniki where the museum of the royal tombs of Filippos and Alexander
the Great is located and the newly discovered Filippos palace known as the Macedonia Parthenon.

Finally, Preveza is a small regional seaside town close to Ioannina, with great history, such as the ruins of Nicopolis. Also, there are some great beaches to discover at the nearest seaside villages including Parga and Lefkada, the last an island which can be reached by an undersea tunnel.
